SEN IOR CLASS President Randy Fleenor Vice-President Cheryl Bolling Secretary Mary Beth Marshall Treasurer Danny Breeding Sponsors Miss Faith Cox Miss Callie Darnell Miss Lora Dingus Mrs. Grace Rose Fleenor, Bolling, Marshall, Breeding Of all our years at Powell Valley, this has truly been Our Year. We, as mighty Seniors, have felt as if we ruled the roost.” We have had more challenging subjects, more freedom to use our own ideas, innumerable thrilling moments such as the day our class rings came. For each individual making up our graduating Class of 1968, the year held a little something different. For some there was the uncertain excitement of college boards, acceptances, and plans for future education. For others the year represented the final step before entering the business world. Some of us will soon be in the service of our country and others will be the homemakers of the future. Many of us have already distinguished ourselves. One of our members is the first Merit Scholar Semi-Finalist for our high school, one traveled to Europe on tour with the All Student Band U.S.A., and all three Homecoming Queens have been selected from our class. We have won prizes for homemaking, citizenship, speaking, and achievement in impor- tant subjects. We have been a hard working group, selling magazines for the Prom and staging it last year. Holding offices and doing necessary jobs around school this year kept us going at a fast pace. As we stand in the graduation processional with all the outw r ard symbols of our Seniorhood around us, the most important emblem is the mark on each of our hearts left by our memories of things that have been and our hopes of things to come.
