SOPHOMORES President Phil Mullins Vice-President . Terry Simmons Secretary Geanne Poole Treasurer Louise Roat Sponsors Mr. Don Campbell Mrs. Grace Rose Mrs. Evelyn Whitt Miss Julia Willis Miss Faith Cox Poole, Roat, Mullins, Simmons We, the 1962-63 sophomores of Powell Valley High School, have reached the half¬ way mark. As “middle classmen,” we have two years behind us, and two more to go. Each of us has watched new teachers come and go. Some of our classmates moved on to other goals and new classmates took their places. However, the excitement and the challenge of new subjects each year keep us from reminiscing too much and re¬ mind us to look forward. Our goal is to set a good example for lower classmen to follow, proving in some way that school days are the best days of youth and that they are the days to learn, to meet new friends, and to accept responsibilities. We owe much to our parents and teachers who have sacrificed their time in order to help us fulfill our goals.
