FOREWORD In the 1968 edition of the Badger we have endeavored to portray the true spirit of the Badgers. It may lose, but it is never really defeated. Throughout the yearbook we are showing the school spirit as it is related to our school creed. School spirit is an intangible quality. The Badger is a concrete expression of the Powder Valley High School spirit. CONTENTS Title 0 r ui uwui u 4 Mt|in i i i-Ln Lii do xuu ■Seniors TQ . We picked out our announce- ments and name cards, and planned our gradua- tion. In our free time we worked on money- making projects. When we were not busy with these, we devoted our time to studying Modern Problems, English IV, speech, bookkeeping, math, and chemistry. 18 JUNIORS Mr. Floyd, Advisor; Denny Nave, Treasurer; Junia Henderson, Business Manager; Pat Pearson, Secretary; Ron Calloway, President; and Derry Leonnig, Vice Pres- ident. JUNIORS The Junior Class had an exciting year filled with fun and work. We elected Junia Henderson as Carnival Princess and she later became Carnival Queen. We worked hard to earn money for the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom. We sold conces- sions at the ballgames, sold candles, and had raffles, carwashes, and workdays. With the rest of our time, we studied such subjects as U. S. History, English, and chemistry.
