STUDENT COUNCIL Frank Pfel President Donald Nice Vice-President Jo Ann Gard Secretary Denece McCanse Treasurer Gerald Dudek Sergeant at Arms 'Hie Student Council is the self- government of the high school Each year there are Student Council Confer- ences all over the state and each school sends delegates to the conference in their region Frank Pfel, Donald Nice, Jo Ann Gard, Denece McCanse, Kathy Nave and Mrs. Vancil, as advisor, went to Hermiston this year as the delegates from Powder Valley. At the conference the officers learn- ed better ways of student government and how to get more recognition for scho- lastic achievements. It is the Student Connell's duty to work with Mr. Vancil to settle any problems that may arise throughout the school year.
