Scared but excited, we climbed the stairs for the first of many times. We elected Jack Jacobson as class president, Melania Smith as vice-president and Judy Rowett as secretary-treasurer. Joyce Dodds joined us during the year, making us 15 in all. Judy Rowett was elected carnival princess. With our advisors Mr. Zike and Mrs. Hardman we had some hilarious times together. Thus ended our first year. As Sophomores we were as cocky as we had been scared the year before. Clover Asbahr and Joyce Dodds had left us, but before the year was out we were joined by Elaine Stultz from Baker and LeRoy Marler from Tigard. Our first big activity was initiating the freshmen. Mrs. Sutherland and Mrs. Lin- say were our advisors. Gail Fisher was our carnival princess and she was als Football Queen for 55 Keith Fordice was class president, Gail Fisher vice- president; Marilyn Olsen, secretary and Karen Craig, treasurer. And time marched on. Third year--Juniors. Marilyn Olsen ruled as class president, Sue Green as vice-president, Judy Rowett as secretary and Maizie McClure as treasurer. Our advisor was Mrs. Chatwood. We had lost Karen Craig, Elaine Stultz, and Melania Smith and our class was down to only 12 members. There was the Prom and the Banquet to give, so we were all kept busy. Marilyn Olsen was our car- nival princess. All went well. The Prom, An Evening Under The Sea , was very successful. There is so little time left now. Seniors. At last the big year had arrived. Mrs. Chatwood was our class advisor again. Cleoria (Carroll) Kessel was our President, DeEtte Montgomery, vice-president. Sue Green, secretary, and Jack Jacobson , treasurer. Sue Green was also carnival princess. Our first big project was the Senior Christmas Ball. To make money we had a cedar chest raffle. In January we were joined by Ralph Putnam of Portland, bringing our class up to 13. V'e will always re- member the wonderful Senior sneak we had.
