P.E. DEPARTMENT The staff of the P.E. department at Poway High is composed of skilled physical educators sincerely interested in the total development of each person. The department tries to meet the diversified needs of the students by offering many different types of classes. A new class offered this year was swimming, which included instruction in beginning, inter- mediate and advanced swimming, lifesaving, first aid and scuba diving. Some of the more popular classes of the department are: weight training, modern dance and all the swimming classes. All the athletic teams on campus, ltennis, golf, baseball, gymnastics, etc.l, are coached by at least one member of this department. Titans are cared for in many different ways by many concerned and skilled people. The Classified staff at Poway High School are concerned with assisting the administrators, counselors and teachers in their job to educate students. They are people who enjoy and believe in young people and are dedicated to their welfare. The Classified staff form the back-bone of the behind the scenes activities at Poway High.
