AGRICULTURE At the beginning of the 1972-73 school year a Vocational Agricultural Program was available to Poway High Students. This program, with special emphasis on Ornamental Horticulture, is now a part of the regular curriculum. A propagation unit, soil bins, a saran house, and a tool shed are just a few of the facilities and equipment available to students taking Vocational Agriculture classes. Classes in Agriculture are designed to give each student practical skills in order to enter the challenging Agricultural industry. Fifty per cent of the class time is spent out-doors applying what has been learned in the class-room. Four separate courses, taught by Mr. Lassanske, are now available to the Agriculturally oriented student.
