CDYSSEY Deadlines, pictures, copy, layouts, contacts with clubs and advertisers, trips to San Diego for equipment repairs and materials spell daily routine of the Odyssey staff. Jutta Diekamp has her hands full coordinating all the details and trying to keep a staff of 25 students busy. The staff took all pictures, a monumental task. They came away with four trophies, capturing a second place trophy in the Autumn Band Review, and making them third in San Diego County. They also placed fourth in the Escondido Tournament of Bands and third in the Chino Band Review. The Titanettes also marched in the Mother Goose Parade for the third year with the band. The Advisors this year were the very capable Mrs. Lee Murphy and Mrs. Wanda Tomlinson. Captain of the team was Anne Peavy. Lieutenant was Eva Rosacker. The Squad Leaders this year were Cherie Roudebush, Debby Willenberg, Penny Riggs. and Cheri Beaugrand, Two officers that were brand new this year were Treasurer- Caryn Hammond and Ways and Means- Barbi Stokley.
