Wbdfdftg The present Sophomore class came mto btmg 1n September 1948, when we stepped into the corrxdors oi PHS as seventh graders Through that year and the next we were not very actlve Although we dld enter floats IH the Halloween parade we dld Hot wm any of the prwes As Freshmen, hfe at PH S became more actlve and mterestxng Wfe elected Ted Kan torowslcr as President, Barbara Turner as Vice President, anlce Wlley as Secretary and Val entma liuczelc as Treasurer, Patty lush as Student Council representatxve and Mr Krer stead as our Class Advisor We entered a float m the parade whlch was based on the theme Maggle Dear, but agaln we faxled to mn a prlze Belng Freshmen, we had to be xmtlated That was an experlence whlch Mill long be remembered Later, our class had a food sale, turkey raffle, and 1 Valentxne dance to mcrease our class funds We went to Idylwlld on our class PICDIC Thls year we came back to the famihar halls as Sophomores For our class offxcers we elected Barbara Turner, Bernard Vladylca Valentrna Buczelc, and o Pacyna Ted Kantor owslcr vxas our Student Councll representatlve and Mr Henry our Class Advlsor Thls year lt was our turn to 1n1t1ate the Freshmen We enjoyed that The class put on a Hobo dance and a pnze was given to the funmest Hobo Rosa bel Loverldge The dance was a big success We ordered our class rmgs and finally recexved them arter much waltmg We were all well satxsfxed with them Our class also gave Mary Lavery a Goxngaway party and presented her wrth a gift Next year, as JUDIOFS, we are determined to add more brllllant pages to our class history I N . ,, .... . . . . .
