DE DICATION We, the class of 1956, are sincerely proud to dedicate our yearbook to Mr. Bigelow who through his amiability has won the respect and friendship of all students. His cheerfulness and his fine sense of humor augmented by his congenial personality have made math Classes a pleasure to attend, We wish to show our gratitude to Mr. Bigelow for his sincere interest and his willing- ness to help by dedicating our Phois to him.

FGREWORD This Phois is the last in a long series of excellent year- books, published by the senior classes of Poughkeepsie High School, where the pictures of activities and events were taken at 29 North Hamilton Street. Because of this fact, it will have increased value in future years as a frame of reference, to com- pare the old with the new. The traditional compiling of this document will surely continue in a new environment.
