,931 Business Students Set Ciooils Flnd Cleoir Obstocles The business education program of- fered programs of study in data pro- cessing, secretarial, accounting, and clerical skills. Nearly 25 'Vo of Pottstown High School students were classified as vocational business students. Almost 50 'fo of P.H.S. students were enrolled in at least one business course. The Edith Chesney Ronald Davidheiser Joseph Golightly Helen Good Keith Grant Margaret Munz Michael Novak Daryl Saylor program allowed students to pursue academic goals while providing voca- tional skills. Students in the course prepared themselves for jobs such as data entry clerk, computer operator, secretary, bookkeeper, figure clerk, file clerk, typist, and general office clerk. Various department awards were earned by the senior students. They were the Philadelphia National Bank Stenography, Earl Fl. Strange, Norman S. Martin, Business and Professional Women's Club, and Colonial Personnel Service Award. ln addition, students were eligible for other awards. :I . Roy Martin
