The program included 22 Teachers and I2 vocaTional shops. They were appli- ance repair, auTo mechanics, Tood service, healTh service, home economics. mechanical drawing, machine shop, Technical draTT- ing, wood shop, and Two new courses - cosmeTology and build- ing mainTenance. CosmeTology was very popular and had over 40 sTudenTs enrolled. AddiTional room had To be provided Tor The new courses, so Tour shops - draTTing, elecTronics, building mainTenance, and cosmeTology - were relocaTed in The vocaTional annex, one wing oT The Tormer lnTermediaTe School which was converTed To meeT These needs. Thus addiTional space was gained To supply The vocaTional sTudenTs wiTh The Tools of Their TuTure Trades. A work Training program, known To The sTudenTs as co-op, allowed Those sTudenTs who qualiTied To learn on The iob while conTinuing Their academic sTudies which led To graduaTion. ?
