The Business Education Program Accounts For Students Of All Types The business department credited active students with skill andknowledge. The most advanced business course was secretarial. These girls developed their skills in typ- ing, shorthand, record keeping, and operating business machines. Three years of accounting were offered to the students majoring in bookkeeping. Students enrolled in the clerical curriculum learned general office skills and procedures. One of the most interesting courses that busi- ness offered was data processing. This curriculum was carried out in the Administration Building from 7 a.m. to 10:30. Key punch operation and computer programming were the techniques taught. - The business classrooms were replete with enthusiastic students who became proficient in their skills and proce- dures.
