Senior Class 194 President-JAMES R. WMDNER Via--President-STANLEY PRINCE Sfcrrtary-BETTY H. BARTMAN Trfasurrr-RICHARD L. KXNDSVATTER Class Advisors Miss MnuAM V. Lunwio MR. J. ROBERT VoN DRACH HIE marches on, but we shall take a few moments to reminisce about our years in Potgtown High School. With Xielvin Keim as president in our Sophomore year, we successfully con- ducted a magazine campaign. The Sophomore-Junior Festival was our next activity, and in hlarch, 1938, we, together with the Seniors, sponsored the St. Patty's Day Dance. Step This Wayu, the all-school play in which the Sophomores took an active part, completed our first year's program. ln our Junior year we again had a magazine campaign. When Top o' the World , the all-school musical comedy, was produced, the audience saw a large number of the Juniors in the play. Again we participated in the Sophomore- junior Festival. After a roller skating party, the Christmas and Easter dances were held. The most important event of all, however, was the Junior Prom, held on June 5. As we progressed to our last year in high school, we remembered that we must assume a dignified manner, however we found it difficult to do so at times. James Weidner succeeded Melvin Keim as our president. We held three dances in our Senior year: the Hall0We'en Dance, the Thanksgiving Day Dance, and the Christmas Dance. Our class play, The Bat , was a very successful production and evoked much favorable comment. ln January we started work on the Troiad-the ltock that holds so many lasting memories. As we look back, we know we shall never forget our Wash- ington trip and our graduation exercises. The Commencement Dance, which was held on June l0, was the social climax of our Senior year. The last event of our high school days was the Alumni Dance on June l4. And here we are, ready to attain new goals in the world. lklay we be as successful as we have been in Pottstown High School!
