FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA . . . Some of us think this word means raising farm animals for shows. This is not true. Even though F.F.A, deals with animal and crop produc- tion, leadership and cooperation are also learned along with mechanics. Pottsboro F.F.A. did great this year, Duwane Burns walked away with Grand Champion and 540,000 with his hog at the Houston Livestock Show. Among some of the other win- ners at various shows were: Brian Kent, Steve Smith, Mike Dobbs, and Stephen Tucker, A. Vernon, Tyson. and Ratliff work on a barrel in the shop. B.
