Q.: MAY l HAVE YOUR ATTEN- TION PLEASE. , echoing of the inter- com system was by far the most un- popular saying. But, since I have it let's get acquainted with the students of Pottsboro High School. Getting into the groove of things did not come easy for anyone at Pottsboro in 1985. With the implication of the new state laws there were many different opinions, viewpoints, and suggestions made by the students. In a poll conducted of the high we found some favorites, un- favorites, and some feelings on particular subjects. When asked about the new rules, one sophomore expressed himself with NO COMMENT!! . While others had com- ments that are against the rules to print. Not all of the state laws were voted down. The state implacted class of AC- TIVITY was voted as the most favorite class, while 'GEOMETRY beat BIOLOGY by only a few votes as the least favorite class. This year the lockers were decorated with everything from pictures of the famed to the not so famous. According to Speaking one Freshman, the locker was not the place to be, I HATE IT! THE PERSON ABOVE ME IS ALWAYS DROPPING THEIR BOOKS ON MY HEAD . While a Senior, who of course has a top locker, said, IT'S GREAT. IT IS THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD TO CATCH UP ON ALL OF THE LATEST RUMORS AND GOSSIP. Again this year, Pottsboro looked like Paris in the spring. Romance was in the air. Mr. Prindle made his usual announce- ment that the halls were not the place for any romance. The students had many comments on this lovely situation: STRANGE! , NOT ENOUGH HOMEWORK! and, IT SHOULD BE OFFERED AS A CLASS: THEN AT LEAST SOME PEOPLE COULD HAN- DLE IT A LITTLE MORE MATURELYI' When students had time away from studying and school they enjoyed going to the movies, listening to music, going out to eat, and just bumming around. Even though the state laws limited the time Ouf A for having fun, practical jokes, and just playing around, it was still plentiful and ridiculous as ever. A. Tammy Dutton and Jennifer Gilloud ask, What is going on over there? . B. Talking on the telephone is one of Shellee Pearsons' favorite pastimes. -E, ig . 4
