CTIVIFI Getting around the new state laws was among one of the challenges Pottsboro High School students were faced with. State laws limited time which was used for U.l.L. activities and school functions. Although activities were still held after school and during activity period ar- rangements were made to meet people's needs. Among the activities that occurred during the fall were homemaking pro- jects, Christmas door contest, Christmas parade, pep rallies, homecoming dance, halloween carnival and many science projects. High School students were also able to voice their opinion and vote on the 1985- 88 presidential candidate. The final result was Ronald Reagan. 30 A. Heather Colden sneaks under the Christmas tree. Randy Short, Capt. football tearn, takes part in a spirit raiser before the Honey Grove game. E. Mrs. Cassell's Cabbage Patch Kids eat cabbage to pro- mote the door decoration, F. Terry West makes a soccer ball in homemaking. G. Seniors yell during the last pep rally. H. Jody Melton, John Williams, and Jeff Cordell relax at the N.H.S. party. l.
