. . Girls Basketball 1984485 J,V. Cardinals had a tremendous year under Coach Peggy Dillman's direc- tion. The J.V. team had a 11-3 overall season record and they captured the district title. The Cards had some strong sophomore leadership to go along with some excellent freshmen players. One of the high points of the season was outstanding victories over Whitewright and Howe. The J.V. girls won the district title with an 9-1 district record. The leading scorers for the J.V. Cards were freshman Nora Carettini with a 7 point season average and 10 point district average and sophomore Jennifer Lawrence with a 6 point season average and a 4 point district average. A.
