In early May a concert was presented to show off the bandis playing ability. A. Mandy Anderson, Jeannie Perdue, and Scott Miller show their expertise in band. B, Pam Shires, Suzy Starr, and Karen Montgomery really look like they know what they are doing. C, Scott Miller plays by ear. D. Anthony Thomas and Mike McDonald concentrate on the beat of the surroun- ding environment. E. Suzy Starr, Karen Mon- tgomery, and Sandra Clem are surprised how much they have improved since they first started band. F. Julie Rock, Sonya McGuire, and Tammy Jaresh all wait patiently for their turn to play. G. Jeannie Perl due and Mandy Anderston keep an eye on the priz- ed possession of the year, a Cabbage Patch Doll. H. Mr. Yowell directs the band. l. A major change for the cheerleaders was when the squad reigned under the new leadership of Mrs. Cindy Outlaw. Another change was the new policy which allowed three cheerleaders from each the 7th and 8th grade. Because of this new policy, eliminating 6th grade cheerleaders, the class had to project spirit without leaders. Overlookig the few changes that occurred, the girls con- tinued to lead their teams to victory, A. Cheerleaders perform stunts in pep rally. B. 8th grade cheerleaders, Toni Miller and Carla Miller, ride in the Christmas parade. C. 7th grade, B. J. O'Mary, Jena Volick and Amy Webb, demonstrate spirit in parade.
