Cheerleaders Boost Cardinal Spirit Promoting school wide spirit is a top priority for the l982-83 varsity cheerleaders. They attended camp at SMU in luly winning a spirit stick and a superior ribbon. They cheered the Cardinal football team to a lO-l season and backed the basketball team. The 1982-83 PHS Varsity Cheerleaders are: Seniors: Leah Deaton, lanet Garrison, and Rhonda Thompson Malone. luniors: Vicki Grace, Angela Bishop, and Ca- mey Wright. Mascot: Stacy Seat. A. Rhonda Thompson Malone attempts a toe-touch at one of the outdoor pep rallies. B, The Varsity Cheerleaders perform a skit inside the new gym. C. Angela Bishop and Leah Deaton cheer at a pep rally in the stadium. D. Angela Bishop, Leah Deaton, and lanet Garrison anticipates a playoff position at the end of the Anna game. E. Cheer- leaders prepare a stunt for that night's game. F. Camey Wright cheers on the guys at the BifDistrict game against the SouthLake-Carroll Dragons. G.
