New Uniforms Arrive For l-lorriecoming The Homecoming weekend was a very memorable time for the band. The new uniforms arrived by special courier and the band was able to perform in them for the first time homecoming. The Cardinal band also participated in various march- ing contests. The contests were Van Alstyne, Farmers- ville, and the U.l.L. Contest in Mesquite. They also per- formed with the drill team during the year. In addition the band was in three parades including Pottsboro where they won 2nd placeg Sherman, and the Denison Christmas Parade. ln the spring they attended a U.l.L. Concert Contest held at Richland College and received a division four rating. A. Pottsboro High School marching band participates in the U.l.l.,. Contest at Mesquite. B.
