1983 Pl-lo Poll A poll was conducted in the spring by the annual staff to determine the 'favorites' of PHS. 250 students were questioned about their favorite places to hangout and places to eat, what teams they liked best, as well as preferred television shows and types of music. New Styles Hit PHS Fashion held a place in Pottsboro High this school year in a way as never before. Students didn't hestitate to show their preference in clothes as they donned the latest styles. Camaflouge pants and shirts were a favorite of many guys. Then a few brave ones had their hair cut in punk shortness. Girls took their parts in fashion by wearing short skirtshand polka dots and preppy shoes. Gther favorites of the less fashion conscious were rock shirts such as KZEW and QlO2 T-shirts. Near the end of school, bandanas were worn around necks, tied in a knot. Several students dressed in the newest punk shirts as school came to an end. A.
