Sth Grade Wins District Track Crown The eighth grade track teams dominated the district as they both won district championships at Van Alstyne. During the season they ran in meets at Whitewright, two at Van, and twice at P'boro in dual meets. In the district meet the girls swept the title with 114 points. Amy 81 lennifer Lawrence combined their efforts to win six first places and score 66 points. In the boys division they had some stiff competition but won the championship with an epidimic of third and tourth place finishes. They scored lO7 points. A A. Eighth Grade Moves into New Building Eighth grxaders enjoyed their last year ot Middle School in a new building. They participated in many new schedules and activities throughout the year. A.
