Pottsboro MS 'filly Wins First ln Literary UTL The Pottsboro Middle School won first place at the UlL meet held at Austin College in Sherman. They earned 145 points including four first place finishes. They placed in number sense, oral reading, and spell- ing. MS Graduation Held ln New Cafetorium The eighth grade graduation was held in the new cafetorium which was filled to capacity with graduates, teachers, family, and friends. A group of eighth grade girls sang songs and recited poems. Brian Gastineau and l-leath Wester read the prophecy while Amy and lennifer Lawrence gave the class history. The PTO awarded the valedictorian and salutatorian, Katy Reed and lohn Williams, with money for their accomplishments. The classmates the'n received their diplomas from superintendent, Charley Chambless. Afterwards the graduates were treated to pizzas at Maz- zios in Sherman.
