Middle School Ban, Enjoys New Facility The middle school band moved into the new band hall facility shortly atter the start ot the school year. This new hall allowed students room to store instruments and individual practice room. Band members marched in several parades during the year as well as performing with the high school. They also took part in the spring band concert May lO. A. Charlsye Smith, middle school twirler, performs during an outdoor pep rally. B. Brad Waters, Kelly Rock, and loel Sales ply their brass instruments during sixth grade band. C. Leslie Cassell and Shirley Depute practice their cornets. D. Pottsboro MS 'filly Wins First ln Literary UTL The Pottsboro Middle School won first place at the UlL meet held at Austin College in Sherman. They earned 145 points including four first place finishes. They placed in number sense, oral reading, and spell- ing.
