Losing only one district game, the team finished behind Whitewright. The eighth graders, through the coaching of Bo Jones and Gary Clements posted a 6-1-0 district record. th Graders Win District Title Many hours of strenuous workouts, athletic ability, and traditional team spirit were leading factors in winning the seventh grade football district Co- Championship. 1977 was the last year a Pottsboro seventh grade team won this title.
