Cheerleaders Gain New Experience JV Cheerleaders have successfully led their football team to a winning season. Through their dedication and support they have displayed the spirit of true Cardinals. Even though half of the squad was young and inexperienced, they performed and supported the team admirably. Their endless amount of spirit really came through when they helped support the Varsity team by performing at the pep rallies. A. Vickie Grace and Natalie Coffman practice team work. B. Determination ls Key to Being Cheerleader Determination could be the key leading to the 1980-81 JV Cheerleaders' success. From the beginning of the school year they have displayed a winning spirit. During the summer the squad attended camp at Austin College in Sherman, where they received Grand Champion honors. In individual awards, Janet Garrison was named as All-Star Cheerleader. Summer camp gave the cheerleaders the knowledge and winning attitude needed to promote spirit. From painting posters to selling football programs on Friday nights, the cheerleaders have shown determination in their support of the Cardinals. A.
