B, Jack Gaines leads the pack as the track team sets out on a cross- country run. C. John Lewis stretches out before running the 880 yard dash. Varsity The varsity track team has 3 senior and 11 undergraduate members including: Front Row, Leslie Love, Darryl White, Bill Chiles, Jack Gaines, Stacy Little, Jamie Johnson, Casey Perkins. The junior varsity track team goes through an oft-season program the same as the varsity members do. The pur- pose oi this program is to build their strength and endurance for other sports including track. Running and field event skills are per- formed during after- noon practice. A.
