The varsity boys' basketball team tin- ished the season with an 18-8 record, the best record for varsity boys in years. Coach Don Hudson, who is in his sec- ond year as Boys' Head Basketball Coach, described the team as an out- standing, hard-working group that has improved tremendously over the last two years. The Cardinals played in three tourna- ments this year placing third in two ot them and winning the championship in the S818 tournament. Mark Price, the Car- dinals' leading scorer, and Leslie Love received all-tournament honors. With six Seniors leaving, next year's team will have to rely on younger players from a strong 19-2, J.V. team. Seniors on the team include: Leslie Love, Jack Gaines, Kyle Flesher, Corky Henderson, Curtis Hightower, and Stacy Little.
