P.l-l.S. plays an active role in UIL, having won the District Class A trophy for the past five years. Ever since 1973, more than twenty students from Potts- boro have competed at the regional level, with last year setting a landmark in P.l-l.S. history. P.H.S. captured the Regional sweepstakes tro- phy, sending six students as well as the One Act play to state. P.H.S. contestants are preparing to repeat this out- standing performance in Wg I l979. Grayson County Col- lege hosts the District Com- A' petition on April 4, I979. Perhaps this year will hold a dynamic victory for the UIL contestants. It is impossible to men- tion UIL activities, without bringing the One Act Play into the picture. With a state-qualifying play in l978, the cast has an excellent stepping stone to go all the way Due to an early shipment date the Cardin l .
