X , , ,A-,- f The JV Cardinal football team, under the direction of Ronny Ray, Bill Crenshaw, Gary Clements, Chris Trueblood, Don Hudson, and Rick Jones, finished the season with a five win and five loss record. The Cardinals won their first four games then completed the season with a win against Celina. Several members, due to injury to several varsity players were moved to the Varsity squad. The Cardinals scored a total of 71 points during the season with 630 yards total offense. They challenged I2 teams throughout the E1 year ending with eight wins and four losses. One of their achievements was a lst place trophy they won at the Pottsboro Tournament.
