Valedlctory Parents, Teachers, Classmates, and Friends As time passes, we begin to realize the time of Graduation grows nearer The day we have all been planning and working toward I am sure lt will prove to be one of the most important days in the lives of every member of our calss As we think back, we begin to feel a little sad at having to part with our classmates and teachers, and perhaps a llttle frightened at having to face the world and its future alone We now understand what our parents and teachers have tried to prepare us for, by showing us right and wrong All during our school days they have stood beside us ready to lend a helping hand when we needed it most. There are not enough words to say, or enough gestures to make, to show our appreciation and thanks to those who have made lt possible for us to reach this, our flrst goal My greatest wish is, that each and everyone of our graduating class, can in some way, make our lives an xnspiratlon to tomorrows Seniors and underclassmen That we may set a living example of ' Good American Citizens ', and in this small way, perhaps we can begin to repay out parents, our teachers, and our friends, for showing us the way to the abundant life, and by helping us find lt Mar jorie Stefner We, the class of 1952 have reached only our first step of the ladder, on which we shall indeed rise We have reached this step with the guidance of parents who have indebted their lives that we should advance on the road to success and become better citizens The council and friendshxp of our teachers and friends have been of great help in guiding us to this point We shall now be able to meet society with xts success and failures, carrying out our life lonv expectations as we grow older These achievements, which we have accomplished through years of trafnlng at home and at school have made us ready for the responsibilities of life, as all life ls a responslbnllty During our schooling we have achieved the art of working together, which will be of great value in accomplishments of the future I do not think that thank you or any other such phrase can really express the gratitude and thanks that each of us feels within our hearts We do express our great appreciation to you, our parents, our teachers, and our friends Delores Coolman ll Salutatory
