Title Page Marna Osterberg...Photography Robert Duncan....Photography Dedication We, the Seniors of 1972 dedicate our yearbook to a man who has been our advisor for 3 years, a man who has pulled us through our difficulties with a helping hand and understanding nature. His mind may have been full of ski's, trails, etc., but his cooperativeness in helping us has ever made our bumpy slopes a little less treacherous! To you, Mr. Duncan, we make this dedication with our sincere thanks for being the teacher, advisor, friend, and man that you are. 2 Mr. Robert V. Duncan Principal '$ fiesso t What Does Industry Look for in the High School Graduate? A recent survey of seventy-five companies in New York State pointed out that three of the most important characteristics for future employees were: honesty, cooperativeness, and reliability, A person who has a good record of attendance in school probably will be a better risk than someone who is often absent from school. If you are hired to do a job, the company and your fellow workers have to depend on you to be there to do it. The survey also showed that willingness to learn is Just as important as a skill because you can be taught certain skills. Our present Seniors have demonstrated by their accomplishment that they understand the importance of honesty, cooperation, and reliability. My congratulations to the Class of 1972 for a job well done. i 4 Board of Education (1 to r) Mr. Mick, Principal; Forrest Jones; Edward Beckler, President; «Raymond Smith; Evelyn Pelletier; Carl Roblee, Clerk Absent: Norine Shaw, Vice President deceased, replaced by Ernest Young 5 Faculty Sitting: Mrs. Brewer, Kindergarten; Mrs. Jancar, High School History; (1 to r) Miss Sirrine, Third Grade; Mrs. Maguire, Fifth Grade; Mrs. Mundy, Business; Mrs. Barnett, Fourth Grade; Mrs. Higley, Sixth Grade; Mrs. Keeler, Second Grade Standing: Mr. Duncan, Science; Mr. Kahn, 7th and 8th Grade History; Mr. Flachbarth, Mathematics; Mr. West, Chorus; Mr. Kyrk, English; Mr. McSweeney, Industrial Arts Absent: Miss MaKenzie, First Grade; Mr. Hajeck, Orchestra 6 Cafeteria staff (1 to r) Mrs. Raymond, Mrs. Bleickhardt, Mrs. Byrne, Mrs. Hayes Custodians Mr. VanGuilder Mr. VanDerwarker Personnel Mrs. O'Brien Remedial Reading Mrs. Pish Assistant Librarian 8 Mr. Breuer Driver Education Mr. Webb Guidance Counselor Seniors Richard Agard The quiet mind is richer than a crown.
