The Cafeteria Staff DEDICATION There comes a time in the lives of all people when one must de- scend from the heights, to return from reveling in the joys of science, of mathematics, and of history; and tend to the mundane things of living. We have found food for our souls here in this school of our hearts; but also, and how very important to us, we have found food for our bodies. Daily we have had served to us delicious foods, (oh! that Barbecued Beef!) lovingly and skillfully prepared, and served to us daily in a friendly atmosphere by smiling faces. So, to you three very special people who have administered to our needs so loyally, so faithfully, and so VERY well, we dedicate our Year Book integrity for 1971. Our loving thanks, Carol Bleickhardt, Helen Raymond, and Nellie Byrne. 2 Principal’s Message In Today's world, continuing education beyond high school is be- coming increasingly popular. I encourage you to continue your education according to your in- terests and needs in your chosen field. We are proud of the Class of 1971. Congratulations and best of wishes. Reuben C. Mick 4 Board Of Education To The Board Of Education We will always be grateful for the constant concern of this group for our formal education. The Class of 1971 wished to express a special thank you for a non-acade- mic decision the board has made this year, one that has been very important to us. The Board has given to us the opportunity to fly to Washington on our annual Senior trip. This decision brought to us a new experience for many, and an enjoyable one for us all. We have all appreciated and offer you our sincere 'Thank you', one and all. Flachbarth. To him we owe credit for more than half of the funds for our trip to Washington, also the push and pull enabling us to fly. Many times we have seen Mr. Flachbarth using his free periods for making posters to advertise our activities, planning concerts and money makers on his own, not to mention the numerous times that he not only assisted, but took part in the work himself. In recognition of all the unselfish tilings you have done for us, we thank you, Mr. Flachbarth.
