SENIORS As we have progressed from grade to higher grade in our school life, 11 of us have become increasingly aware of the importance of the foundations upon which our school work has been based. An increasing appreciation, therefore, has grown in us for the good fortune that has been ours to have culminating our grade studies and launching us into the secondary level a devoted, inspired and talented person who inculcated into us not only as good a background in studies as one could wish for; but also the basis for our development as individuals and citizens with character, manners, initiative, self-discipline, thought, and so many of the important things that can't be learned from a textbook; It is with great pride, much love, and many fond memories that we dedicate our year book, Integrity 1968 to MRS. ELLA MONTGOMERY. SENIOR CLASS WILL Being of sound mind and body, we, the members of the almost defunct class of 1968, do direct the following disposition be made of our goods and properties upon our proper demise: Sherry Bump wills her ability to keep out of the office to Pam Whitney. Mike Barletta leaves Harvey to haunt the halls of P. C. S. Gary Clark leaves a very worn pair of athletic socks to brother Allan, with strict instructions to carry on the family tradition. Brian Davis wills his right of way to the well-worn Olmstedville roads and the broken-in rails to Ricky Bump. Douglas Fish leaves his scholarly attributes to Fred Griffen. Bob Guiher leaves his haircut patent to the Leif Carlson’s barber shop. Bill Hoctor leaves his Math questions to Gouch to keep Mr. Flachbarth busy during study halls. Dan Wescott wills his good attendance record to Dutcher, and his 55 Chevy to anyone who can make it run. John Ellsworth wills his study halls to Jean Raymond. Rudy Mason leaves a handkerchief to most of the girls in the surrounding area. Rhea Mason leaves the remaining high school boys to Jenell for safe (?) keeping. Andrea Ellsworth Perry leaves her cosmotology kit to Alma Fish. Lorrie Roblee gladly leaves her Mechanical Drawing class to anyone who thinks it's an easy credit. Tom Staith leaves his Scorpion to the envious Mr. Breuer. Pauline Limoges wills her quiet personality to John Bisceglia. Donna Viele wills her great sense of humor to Denise Harpp, and her poetic talent to Mary Pelletier. Phil VanGuilder wills his quiet ways of living it up to Billy Moses. Debbie Booth Millington leaves her wedding bells to Doris Clark and her long skirts to Mary Young. Barbara Long wills her outgoing personality to Carol Staith. Coca Romero leaves P. C. S. with a lot of broken hearts SHERRY BUMP MICHAEL BARLETTA GARY CLARK BRIAN DAVIS DOUGLAS FISH WILLIAM HOCTOR JOHN ELLSWORTH PAULINE LIMOGES DEBORAH BOOTH MILLINGTON RUDOLPH MASON LORRAINE ROBLEE THOMAS SMITH ANDREA ELLSWORTH PERRY DONNA VIELE PHILIP VAN GUILDER ROBERT GUIHER ALINA •COCA ROMERO SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY With the aid of our class advisor, Mr. Duncan (an able scientist), we were enabled one evening, to look forward into the misty future and for a moment see our trustee selves as we were to be 20 years into the future. We found that because of his grief at the tragic loss of many lives, Mike, our great bartender, has become the new Driver Ed teacher at P.C.S. Sherry Bump, address Greenwich Village, is a happily married Hippie-style housewife, and is co-owner of Triumph Cycle Factory on 69th Street. Gary Clark has taken the place of Fess Parker starring in Dan'l Boone . His hobbies are still hunting, fishing, and trapping in the wilderness of darkest P’ville. Brian Davis is now the chief Probation Officer of Warren County. Remembering the days of his youth, he is very lenient with the law breakers. John Ellsworth is working himself to death as the editor of Playboy Magazine. He wishes he was back at P.C.S. just looking at them once again. Doug Fish is in Las Vegas - playing an engagement under the pseudonym of Doug Hirt. Robert Guiher has just published the Guiher version of the Bible and is a monk in the vallies of the Appennines. Bill Hoctor is now head coach of P.C.S. He is introducing the popular co-ed physical education classes. Pauline Limoges, still employed at the Black Bear, has married a handsome construction worker and is carrying on the family tradition. Barbara Long, in the heart of deep, dark, Africa is found converting the Pygmies to the American way of life. Rhea has completed her schooling in data processing but has a terrible problem. She fell in love with her computer. Rudy Mason, International ladies man, is editor of True Confessions Magazine. Debbie Booth Millington, and her husband Roy, are on an African Safari, collecting specimens for Daktari. Andrea Ellsworth Perry is owner of a Salon for the bald in New York City. Lorrie Roblee, Boston, is the founder of a new school for Psychedelic Charm, and is teaching such important subjects as the correct length of the mini-skirt. Coca is now happily married to Antonio, and he has designed and built her a beautiful new home in Equador. Tom Smith is in Washington, has taken over General Westmoreland’s job, and is in charge of making more efficient goldbrickers. Philip Van Guilder, of California, is in the redwood forests, and with his sidekick, Smokey the Bear, is roaming around looking for glowing cigarette butts. Donna Viele, New York City, is now one of the leading models for the new no-look fashions. Her hourly wages are unbelievable. And last, but not least, we found Dannie to be a game warden - and the Igerna ’Jackers have lost their great leader! SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Standings Rhea Mason - Secretary Pauline Limoges - Treasurer Sitting! Mike Barletta - President Mr. Duncan - Advisor Thomas Smith - Vice President Dear Mr. Duncan, We the Senior Class wish to express our appreciation to you for being our class advisor. Not only because you have stuck with us when we were at our most uncooperative and difficult points, but also because you have kept try- ing and working for us when apparently we did not seem to care. We appreciate not Just your excellent example of a dedicated teacher, or because you are a man of many inter- ests and with a pleasing personality; but also the many, many thoughtful things you have done for us that you did not have to do. No, not for these things alone, although each one alone would be enough. Most of all we appreciate the fact you re a swell guy, Mr. Duncan and we like you. Thank you for everything. In the Seventh grade, most of our energies are guided toward becoming an integral part of the high school community. It is hard because we have been elementary students so long. We have to learn to become responsible to our- selves for our individual acts and to impose self-discipline. Some of us succeed, others do not. We only hope we can become good high school students and develop intellectually to make our school proud of us. In October, Patrick Morehouse transferred from Chestertown and after ten weeks with us, returned to Chestertown. The highlights of our year have been our Halloween, Christmas and Valentine parties. We have enjoyed them to the fullest and are grateful to the parents for their kindness in sending so many goodies • We have kept a weather chart for the month of February. It was a sunny but very cold month. Keeping the chart taught us to read the thermometer and wind vane, also some of the things that help make up the weather, the meaning of above and below zero, freezing point, etc. We also noted how the weather affects the lives and work of people. Especially how it affected our play period, as the sub- zero weather kept us from playing outside so many days. We have a very cooperative group of boys and girls who work and play happily together. It is a most enjoyable group. With our outstanding bass section, strong alto singers, soaring sopranos and true tenors we were able to present a well balanced chorus. Our Christmas audience told us they thoroughly enjoyed our concert, the high point of which was our singing of MAnd the Glory of the Lord 1 from Handel's Messiah, with our director conducting from the piano. We are an enthusiastic chorus this year, delighting in singing good music. Twenty of our group were selected to sing in the county chorus at Schroon Lake, and twelve in the All State Festival in Plattsburgh. Our director tells us she is very proud of our performance musically, our loyalty to our school, and our conduct at festivals. ORCHESTRA Back rows Middle rowi Front row H. Hildenbrand, T. Fuller, D.
