R caching Back... .. .Through Ti me PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE Mr. and Mrs. Reuben C. Mick TO THE PUPILS OP POTTERSVILLE CENTRAL SCHOOL: These are the happy, developmental years that you must use to build an educational foundation for your future life. Learn to be helpful and cooperative at home as well as in school. Plan a career goal and work toward this goal while you are in school. Congratulations to the Senior Class for their fine example, cooperation and achievement in producing this yearbook. Reuben C. Mick DEDICATION A Teacher... A Friend.... We dedicate our yearbook to a man who has given unsparingly of his time to Pottersville Central School and to us as individuals. As a teacher, he has been superb; as our class advisor, he has been wise and understanding; as a friend, he has been loyal and encouraging. We affectionately dedicate our yearbook to you... David Bump wills to the future English students one 111 used teacher. Gary Stewart wills one well used race-chair to future speeders of the corridor. Rocquln VanGullder wills his quiet ways to Bruce VanDerwarker. Henry Pelletier wills his tired old class checkbook into retirement. Sue Jones wills a shook-up alcohol lamp to Mary Gould, and other future chemists. Raymond Wells wills his ability to skip school successfully to Larry Barrett. Mllly Snyder wills one victorious (?) scorebook to anyone who has the patience and mental stability to cope with It. Francis Gould wills his blonde crew cut to James Robbins. Ronnie Cunningham wills one typing-timer to future time bomb artists. - 6 PROPHECY Miss Susan Jones, Somewhere, U.3.A. Susan has been so busy teaching the latest historical facts to her little students, and working on an amendment to banish the electoral college that she hasn't had time to marry. Give her a few years, she's still young. Madame Linda Howe, Met. N.V.C. Our little song bird has turned into the world's favorite soprano. She has also been so busy following her star that she has had no time to go man hunting. Was that a wink from her manager? My goodness, perhaps it won't be so long until the wedding bells are ringing. Mrs. Milly____?__, Happytown, U.S.A. Well, at last, one of our members has wed. Only a few years ago, however, Milly had given up her career of flying, and settled down at last. She has a good start in her second career, that of being a research associate in the field of human relations and child development. Wonder what she will do with her twin boys when she comes to the next reunion. Sgt. Raymond wells, P.T.3.C. Raymond has become a top notch drill sergeant at Parris Island. Sgt. Wells has received many commendations because the recruits he ha3 turned out have beer of excellent quality. Ray is married to a charming southern belle, and they hive a cute girl. David damp, Shocksville, U.S.A. David male it through college with flying colors, and is now the country'3 leading electrorics genius. He has developed several different types of mechanical men, and he has devised a way in which machines can run other michines and now man has a 7-day week vacation. David hasn't married because he says he prefers his mechanical men; no nag, no brag.' Professor Henry Pelletier, Chemtown, U.S.A. Good old Hank has become the world's leading chemist. It was through Hank that the A-bomb was abolished for wartime purposes. Henry has come up with a new miracle spray. All you do is spray it on somebody, and no more somebody. Which reminds us, didn't we read in the paper not too long ago that Professor Pelletier's third wife disappeared with no trace, same as the first two? Major General Gary M. Stewart, Washington, D.C. Maj.Gen. Stewart graduated from a high ranking university at the top of his class. Gary is the President's right-hand-man. It was through his humor that several bold war hot spots were cooled down. Gary is married to a charming young lady. They now have two rambunctious boys. Francis Gould, Cortland, N. Y. Francis graduated from Cortland State a top athletic 3tar, and has been employed there as head coach ever since. Under his guidance and training, the teams have not suffered a defeat in 6 years. Francis has not as yet married. Rocquin Van Guilder, Stonewall, U.S.A. Rocky has been doing quite well for himself in the field of civil engineering. His company has won several federal contracts. Last year they completed the first Trans-American highway, linking Washington,New York, and other Eastern cities directly to San Francisco and Seattle on the West Coast, hocky also has successfully married. Ronald Cunningham, Anywhere, U.S.A. Ron has his own successful trucking business. He went through college and saw quite a bit of the world during his l4.-year military hitch. He returned home and married that smiling Irish girl from Minerva. They have three children. ‘Unxleieta Anien JUNIORS Barbara West, Ellen Griffen, Thomas DuRose, Carol Hammond, Mary Gould SOPHOMORES Martha Meade, Hilda Tyrel, Sandra Jones, Edith Peet, Lyla McKinstrey Hazel Robbins, Gale Stewart, 2nd Row: Albert Clark, Robert Johnson Peter Pitkin, Bruce VanDerwaker, George Wescott FRESHMEN Florence Pelletier, Margaret Cole, Susan Bunp, Sandra Reynolds, Leanne Cunningham, Linda Waldron, Beverly Viele, Rose Woods, Karen Steele, Linda Bassett, 2nd Row: Morgan Howe, Chris Cornell, Earl West, Larry Barrett, John Bogle, Andy Harrington, James Robbins, Roger VanGuilder, Wayne Viele, Donald Moffitt.
