It is impossible to list the acts as they vary from songs and comedy skits to the grand finale. The New Student Show is entirely for new students to help orient them to the campus. The show is performed just as classes start and every year the audience totally enjoys themselves. If you've ever seen a New Student Show you'll agree that it helps the new student get ready for a very exciting part of their life. - KIM LOUCKS You know I canIt smile without you I canIt laugh, and I can't walk. During the morning, building dedications were held. Special recognition was given to the families identitied with persons for whom buildings are named. The highlight of the day was the All College Luncheon Rally in the academic quad at noon. The entire campus community participated in a picnic lunch, followed by a concert by the Crane School of Music Chorus and Band. College President Thomas Barington was mas- ter of ceremonies for the Dedication Program. The main speaker was Mrs. Beth Moore, chairper- son of the SUNY Board of Trustees. The final area of the campus development pro- gram - a park established between Knowles Hall was also officially opened. All Campus Day was a chance for the college family to reflect on our growth and development. It was also a moment of tttogetherness in which everyone could reflect upon who we are as in institution, and where we expect to advance in the future. - Kathy Hetzler PROMETHEUS ANNUAL BLOOD DRIVE ANNUAL FALL FAIR IF YOU WANTED TO GO TO A GOOD PARTY YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE LAST NIGHT mm A wmn K N mnqu HNJ TSl DEM mnbu mm S m A P Y G G A B W W ,, W uThe world is full of willing people; some willing to work, the rest willing to let them. - Robert Frost IF YOU DON'T TRY YOU CAN'T FAIL woom?w OME TO CRUMB TO CRAM FOURTH ANNUAL BLACK CULTURE WEEK APRIL 25 MAY 2 1976 Basketball Games Arts of West Africa? USAMW MOLNAR U918-197tD A Portrait of a Man - coach, administrator, teacher, libertarian, athlete, leader, civic volunteer, colleague, counselor, friend - This college will long remember his ever-searching spirit and under- standing, admirable courage and diligence, high standards, cheerful personality, keen sense of humor, luminous laughter, enthusiastic helpfulness and hospitality. Dr. Molnar - a giant of a man who showed us the way. THE Mgmm UFE ANN IN MEMORIA ROBERT BRADLEY DUNN t1932-1976i Each of us who knew him cherishes his own memories of Bob Dunn. To his students and colleagues it is still disquieting to pass his book-lined ofiice and not to hear the friendly greeting, the explosive laugh, not to see the sparkle of enthusiasm which came in his eyes as he lifted his voice in vociferous explanation or defense of his Renaissance and 19th century heroes. He was a superbly gifted teacher and teaching was his greatest legacy - a legacy best explained by students them- selves. Typical of the unsolicited and spontaneous letters of appreciation which came to him over the years is the following: I just feel moved to tell you that your course, iiSurvey of Western Artii, is the best course I have had during four years at this college. You are one of the 3 or 4 really top- notch teachers that I have had, and I am one of many students who feel this way about your teaching. You are extremely well organized, never dull, you stimulate thought and interest. You use to fine advantage every minute of each class period, and I only wish it could have been a 2 - semester course. For sake of future students and future citizens of society, I hope you always continue to be the kind of teacher you are now. To all of us - his friends, students, and colleagues - his death was a sad event, but we can also feel gratitude that he touched us, that even though his time was much too short, he came our way and made our lives richer. If we don't stand for something, we will fall for anything. - Irene Dunne We find it hard to believe that other peoplets thoughts are as silly as our own, but they probably are. - James H. Robinson NOTHING IS EVER LOST BY COURTESY Twas two days before Christmas and we were still here. - Anon. When I feel like exercising, I just lie down until the feeling goes away. - Paul Terry THERE IS NO DEGREE IN HONESTY , EITHER YOU ARE OR YOUR NOT I like work; it fascinates me.
