Becausc of her personality leadership patriotism and scholarship Mary Hutch mson was chosen to reprcscnt the school in the state wide essay contest sponsored by the D A R In September, 1955, we began classes. As part of the orientation pro- gram, two dances were held, one given by the sophomores, the other by the juniors. Our officers were president, Timothy Hayesg vice-president, C. . Goriusg secretary, Mary Hutchinsong treasurer, David Nightengaleg advisor, Mrs. Ferriss.
