College life begins Students settled into a new life - college life - a world of study, sororities and fraternities, union- centered activities, and new friendships. Gone were the leisure days and early hours of high school work. Ignorance died as professors taught latest methods, philosophies, and literary works causing students to think and ideas to be born - ideas that in later years grew into living works of knowledge such as master theses.
