DR. TODD H. BULLARD yjreszbfenf A college yearbook appeals to many kinds of interests and to many levels ofconcern. For most alumni, l suppose, the yearbook achieves its greatest impact at a point in time far removed from the date of graduation. We look back then to see the physical changes in ourselves, in others, and in the campus. We marvel that friends and acquaintances can have grown so bald, or fat, or old. We wonder how education could have been accomplished in such inadequate facilities. The moral is that ceaseless change affects us all and that the camera in freezing people and places at a mo- ment in time gives us a sharp insight into the impact of change upon individual lives and well-loved places. As you look through the pages ofthis book in the years ahead, l hope that change in age and circumstance has treated you kindly, and that the college to which you re- turn a decade or two hence will have kept pace with the rising expectations and great challenges which now and in the future must inevitably affect all of higher education. ., 5' lx, . ., e X 74'f will , , fag' l Y rf, Qfr .. 21.
