CUOI' The 1968 Catamount presents a panorama of student life at Potomac State College - - - a complete picture of the events of this year. It includes some events that are unique to this year, such as the dedication of the Church- McKee Arts Center, as well as events that are traditional as Homecoming. Its pages depict the exciting, as well as the everyday, occurences that color the lives of Potomac State College students. In this year's Catamount, we have attempted to express at least in a small part, the many experiences of each of us that we hope will leave an indelible mark of our college years, possibly the most important and the most meaningful of our lives. The pic- tures here are intended to bring to mind new friends, with which the common bond of shared experiences created a deepened friendship, new knowledge offering doors through which the mind expanded to deal with challenges ahead, and new independence with a growing ability to use it wisely. We, the Catamount staff, feel that the 1968 Catamount will be a success only if, for each student looking at its pages, it serves as a reminder of this year at Potomac State College. We hope that it will be such a reminder for each of you and find a place among your most frequently looked-at books. 15
