nf I shouldlike to remind you that you are a citizen of a large world withinthe world of education. You are one of the 750,000 students enrolled in more than 600 public and privatejunior colleges inAmerica to- day. Approximately one in every four stu- dents who began a formal degree program in 1960 was enrolled in a junior college. You should feel fortunate that you are a student at Potomac State Junior College in our world withinthe great world of educa- tion. We are indebted to the members of the staff and sponsors of the Catamoulg whichportrays so vividly our membership in this world. Mr Kirkland S. McKee DEAN . as Potomac State College grows and ex- pands --in buildings, in equipment, in faculty, in students --that it may more effectively serve a dynamic society. We would hope that each person, whether teacher or student, grows in qualities of mind and spirit that he may better servein these times that demand the maximum from each of us.
