Mr. lnhn VV. Slilllhilgldl Through the years students of Potomac State campus have found the Student Center a hap- py rendezvous for between-class activities. The genial manager, Mr. John Stanhagen, graciously greets them as they seek com- panionship with colleagues over a cup of chocolate or coke, Sleepy Stianhlagen, as he is familiarly known to his many friends, in a sense is the unofli- cial host of the college to stu- dents and parents. His Center is truly a pivotal point wherein one may collect his mail, wait for a friend, make a 'phone call. find a pleasant selection for lunch, purchase a text, be enter- tained by rock 'n' roll records, try his skill at pinball, or accept a challenge to pingpong. With sincere appreciation for countless thoughtful gestures of kindness and consideration, the staff affectionately dedicates the 1959 CATAMOUNT to Mr. John W.
