Harvest Swing The annual Harvest Swing, sponsored by the Eta Upsilon Gamma sorority and the Theta Sigma Chi fraternity, was held on November 21 in honor of Mary Lou Brown of Kingwood. Mary Lou was selected be- cause of her scholastic ability, popularity, and participation in campus activities. Amid a decoration scheme representing the harvest season, PaXton Powers, president of the fraternity, presented Mary Lou with a beautiful corsage of roses on behalf of the two societies. Q 1: CJ 4 v'E47 P Yrs Homecoming Ball At the ninth annual Homecoming Ball, October 17, Mary Kathleen Allman of Clarksburg Was honored as Miss Catamount IV. Mary Kath- leen is president of Eta Upsilon Gamma sorority, vice-president of Sigma Phi Omega, honor fraternity, and a member of W. A. A., Players, and Country Life Clubs. She is one of the most attractive and popular co-eds on the campus and attained this honor through a vote of the students. She was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, after which she led a grand march composed of the hundred couples. The orchestras of Jimmy Andrews and the Potomac State Collegians supplied the music for the dancers in a patriotic atmosphere.

Santa Claus presented each girl with a jingle bell bracelet. and corsages, matching the holiday spirit With that of de- fense. were sold. Amid a scene of pine trees and dimmed lights Eleanor Colabrese and Richard Moore were proclaimed Queen and King of VVin- ter. Eleanor was presented with a beautiful bouquet because of her out- standing scholastic achievement, her beauty, personality, and leadership in the sorority.
