gin, 1' f. sr- fi , Davis Hall Davis Hall, a commodious and comfortable brick building sufficient to accommodate all non-resident men students, is located on the north- western side of the campus. This dormitory, under the supervision of Coach Dana Lough, ably assisted by Mrs. Ethelynd B. Hutton, precep- tress, serves the boys as a home during their stay at Potomac State. By living together, these men soon promote two outstanding attri- butes, friendship and fellowship. Besides providing facilities for study- ing, the hall supplies means of recreation. One of the favorite pastimes is participation in bull sessions or group discussions of varied subjects. Another form of activity, under the supervision of Coach Lough, is intra- mural sports. The teams are composed entirely of men residing on the campus. Since the dining room is located in Davis Hall, the annual Christmas Party is held here. This is the climax of the first semester's social ac tivities. Early each year the boys meet to organize and select officers. In 1942-43 the group honored Ernest L. Grove, Jr., as president. Carroll Rowe, Jim Rice, Jack O'Neill, and Tom Shaffer served as proctors.
