SOPHOMORE CLASS The Sophomore Class started out with 18 in the class but lost Shirley Shank who moved to Dan- ville at Christmas time. The class had three parties. A watermelon supper and hay ride was held at Betty Spesards home. Our annual Junior Play, The Awkward Pause, coached by Miss Fisher was en- joyed by both the cast and audience. FRESHMEN CLASS Uale Berry, Pres.g Mr. Tyrus Franklin, Adv. The Freshman Initiation was held early in the school year. Everyone had to dress like char- acters from the funny papers. In the evening a party was held at the Potomac Park honoring the Freshmen and acquainting them with upperclassmen and faculty. The class held two skating parties which were enjoyed very much.
