SOCIAL CALENDAR AUGUST 31 Registration Day SEPTEMBER 1 Registration continued. 4 School begins with 163 enrolled. 15 Band goes to Troy for Community Day. 20, 22 Latah County Fair. OCTOBER 3 Freshman Initiation. A party for the Frosh was held in the evening. 10 Girls' League Initiation for the Freshman girls. After the initiation a Pot Luck Supper was enjoyed by everyone. 11, 13 Teachers' Institute in Lewiston. Vacation! 26 National Assembly. The Dill Brothers presented a program of archery. 21 Halloween Party for the student body. NOVEMBER 1 Night pep rally for the Homecoming game with Genesee. 2 A mixer was held after the game. 8 Woods Music Group presents a National Assembly. 16 Sadie Hawkins Dance given by the Freshman Class. 21 Thanksgiving Program. 22, 23 Thanksgiving Vacation. 28 The Senior Smorgasbord was a huge success. 31 Winter Concert presented by the Music Department. DECEMBER 6 All-District Band Meet. 8 Snowflake Fantasy was the theme of the Girls' League Christmas Formal. 19 A National Assembly entitled Portraits in Makeup. Christmas Program. 20 Masque and Dagger Initiation. 21 Last day of school in 1951. JANUARY 2, 25 The activities during this time were basketball games. 25 Another National Assembly by Albert S. Otto. FEBRUARY 7 The Office Procedure Class goes to Moscow for a tour of some of the business establishments. 13 The LOGONIAN Staff held a work meeting to complete an edition of the LOGONIAN. 14 All District Band at Nez Perce. 15 The annual Sweetheart Ball was presented by the Music Department- JoAnn Cone was the 1952 Music Sweetheart. 22 The freshmen held a party for their class at Riverside Park. Another National Assembly was enjoyed .
