They believe, ff and they show it, the saying, Mthere aint nothing, new under the sun. SENIORS is folks that when they see a fish or a soph they give them P' that HI,rn-doin'-you-a-favor-by-this'' kind of look. Them fish is silly enough to believe it,too. But SENIORS, sometimes, do things we disapprove of, though not generally. VL. SENIORS is folks that don't take final exams. They don't have ' lessons the last week in school. I never did know that till I saw four SENIOR girls who had got some- body's lunch and was settin' on the steps and eatin' it. They wuz apple pie and steak and lots of other things. The two vcars before, the team receiv- cd defeat after defeat but they stayed together and fought and won, in the end. Then after they had won, or gave signs of winning they received encouragement from both town and school. The success is due to two causes, thc coach and the team work- The first game was a failure except for t'onnell7s successful tackling and breaking up plays- Thc spirit of thc team rose with the ncxt game when Yantis rolled over the goal line for a touchdown. The spirit kept up through the next game but they could not win. Then the revcngcful game with llalls when, they won at the fair and surprised everybody.
