Horizons With every beginning you’ll find an end Like brilliant sun after cool showers. On dazzling autumn after long, lazy summer; And with every endeavor you’ll find a friend— Love blossoms when least expected— True friendship sees all. endures all, and lasts for all time. So now. my friend, let’s view our beginning not as an end. but as an extension of the love we already share. As we go our seperate ways To climb new rainbows and grasp for shining stars. Let us not dwell on the sorrow of parting; Rather, remember always the times we have shared Laughter and tears have formed a bond that so few can share. You were my childhood friend The image of my youth. We’ve laughed, we’ve loved, and we’ve grown You were always there with open arms or a simple smile to warm my heart Like a well-worn teddy bear tattered with age. Look forward to your future not with a heavy heart but with a joyful eagerness for new experiences And yes. my friend, we must go forth— However blind we may feel— to find new pain, new sorrow . . .
