Science Mr Kitchen Dept Head Mrs Borkowski Mr Sabourin Mr GaJhpeau We opened the school in 1963 which just happens to be the year that I start- ed teaching. I can recall having stu- dents in my class who were only four years younger than I was at the time. Our first assembly was a memorial to JFK at which time one of the older teachers, who thought I was one of the students, insisted that I, “sit with the rest of your class.” That doesn't hap- pen to me any more. I've seen soccer develop a strong winning tradition with a lot of pride, the togetherness of the Little Compton students, the con- fusion of the late sixties and early sev- enties, and our present determination to keep pace with a strongly competi- tive society. Through all of the trage- dies, routines, and triumphs, I have seen children grow into young adults. Ray Sabourin Mr Ciccone Mrs Helfner

Teaching at P.H.S. has been an ex- tremely enjoyable experience. I have made many friends here and at the same time, hopefully, have affected in a positive way, several of the young people who have walked these hall- ways. Most noteworthy, however, is that although the faces may change over the years, the students of P.H.S. have been, and are, outstanding indivi- duals who are rewarding to teach and, most important, a pleasure to know.
